A life can be understood through more than one thread. Choose the part of mine you want to follow.
My story begins in Punjab. At 15, I moved to Chandigarh, the city that became the starting point for everything that followed.
I studied at Panjab University. This chapter will eventually hold the people, ideas and turning points that shaped those years.
I grew from team leader to team coordinator and joint secretary before serving as president. I led an 800+ member service organization, overseeing people policies, team structure, budgets, marketing and external representation; together, we raised INR 10 lakh for community initiatives.
July 2017–June 2019
I spent two years moving through the club before becoming president. That progression mattered: by the time I led it, I understood the volunteer experience at every level.
I began by leading a team of general body members and learning how the club worked from the ground up.
I moved into a coordinating role, supporting team leaders and helping several volunteer teams work together.
I helped the club run day to day, including membership records, committee appointments, attendance, dues and club documents.
I presided over the club and Board of Directors, coached committees and represented an 800+ member nonprofit across the Tricity.
A volunteer organisation at this scale needed clear lines of care, responsibility and accountability—not only titles.
We conducted group discussions and personal interviews for 1,500–2,000 people aged 18–30, followed by an orientation and full-body meeting for the selected members.
A Chandigarh-wide treasure hunt for teams of two to five. Participants followed clues across the city, while sponsorships and ticket sales funded service work.
Rotaractors painted diyas with people at old-age homes, orphanages and childcare centres. We sold the decorated diyas and directed the proceeds to charitable causes.
We spent Christmas with children at the schools and care centres we supported, with activities, performances and gifts.
A day of outdoor sports and talent activities for children from schools, childcare centres and orphanages. Later editions continued the format at scale, including one with more than 520 participants.

We adopted ten schools during my tenure and worked on classrooms, seating, lights, fans, washrooms, libraries and sports equipment so children had a safer, more encouraging place to learn.

An adult-literacy programme that trained volunteers and brought regular classes and literacy outreach into underserved communities.
Volunteers ran regular learning, sports and creative activities with children at our Happy Schools.
We helped schools in Chandigarh open and mentor Interact clubs, giving school students an early route into service and leadership.
We built the Himalayan Challenge website and collaborated with Rotaract clubs across India on service projects. We also helped clubs understand the Kids' Olympics format so they could run it in their own cities.
Dr Sneha Rooh trained our volunteers, who then led menstrual-hygiene conversations in underserved settlements with a more informed and humane approach.
Volunteer teams organised cleanliness activities around Chandigarh and used them to build practical awareness about waste.
We worked on animal-welfare and vegan-awareness initiatives, including the two-day Vegan Food Carnival at UIET, Panjab University, on 14–15 April 2018.

Founding Engineer / Lead Engineer
As founding engineer, I took a healthcare resource-management platform from its initial commit to production, architected its React and TypeScript frontend, shipped its first three AI features, and moved into the lead frontend and product role owning work from discovery and PRDs through UAT and rollout.

I translate requirements and PRDs into explicit specs, coordinate specialist agents across implementation, review and browser QA, and use Playwright and UAT gates while keeping architecture, release quality and production decisions human-owned.

Remote work gave me the freedom to work from different places. Over time, that became a digital-nomad way of life, with most of the map so far drawn across India and stretching into Southeast Asia.
I began travelling more often, learning through unfamiliar places, conversations and the experience of living outside a fixed routine.
The places, moves and journeys I remember—not a scorecard, just a record of a decade spent in motion.

While travelling, I landed up in Rishikesh and found yoga, Reiki, Vedanta and breathwork. They gave my inner life a different rhythm.
I completed GT Track Levels 1 and 2: an introduction to track riding, flag signals, motorcycle control and essential track-riding techniques.
I completed Reiki Levels 1 and 2, deepening the practice that had become part of my inner life alongside yoga, Vedanta and breathwork.
Software, remote work, travel, service, writing and the study of consciousness now share the same path. Vedanta has given me a language for the inward part of that journey, which continues to unfold.
